IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS DAVIS
MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
A scholarship
established at Iowa Lakes Community College in memory of an
Emmetsburg community minded individual has been awarded for the
2007-08 college year.
The recipient of
the Wayne D. Davis Memorial Scholarship is Colton Carstensen of
Odebolt.
Davis’ wife,
Phyllis, established this scholarship in 2005 in memory of her
husband, a devoted family man, innovative farmer and steward of
the soil. Eligible candidates for the Davis Memorial Scholarship
must be Iowa residents enrolled full time in the second year of
the Agribusiness or Agriculture Production Technology programs
at Iowa Lakes Community College.
