IOWA LAKES STUDENT BENEFITS FROM COLEMAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the recipient of the Matt Coleman Memorial Scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year.

The family of Coleman established this scholarship in 2006 to keep his memory alive while helping students at Iowa Lakes Community College. Even though Matt’s life was cut short by a tragic accident, family and friends remember him as a former Iowa Lakes Criminal Justice student who had a passion for motorcycles and football.

Eligible candidates must be Palo Alto County residents enrolled full time in Criminal Justice or Motorcycle and Small Engine Technology, and show financial need yet not qualify for Federal financial assistance.

This year’s recipient of the Coleman Scholarship is Ben Morey of Emmetsburg, a Criminal Justice student.
