Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2007-08 Jim & Kay Billings Scholarship to Thomas Thompson of Kimball, South Dakota.

The Jim & Kay Billings Scholarship was initiated by several Iowa Lakes employees to honor former college President Jim Billings’ leadership, vision and accomplishments at Iowa Lakes Community College. Eligible candidates are full-time students at Iowa Lakes showing financial need yet do not qualify for Federal Financial Assistance.
