IOWA LAKES LAKER MEN/ALUMNI GAME SET FOR OCTOBER 27

The Iowa Lakes Community College Athletics Department is sponsoring the annual Youth Basketball/Drug Awareness Clinic preceding the men’s Lakers vs. Alumni Basketball game on Saturday, October 27th.

The youth clinic will be held at 1 p.m. (doors will be open at 12:30 p.m.) with the expected game time to be 3 p.m. All area youth are encouraged to attend, and will enjoy instruction in the fundamentals of the game from the Iowa Lakes men’s basketball players.

For the fans, the Alumni vs. Lakers game will be the first look at the 2007-2008 Iowa Lakes men’s basketball team which has been practicing since the first of October. It is also a time when fans may be able to catch some of their favorite players from previous years.

Students will be admitted free to the clinic and game. The fee is $5.00 for adults. Children under 5 will be admitted free. No passes will be honored for this game.
