IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS WEBBER SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2007-08 Guy Webber Trust Scholarship to Aaron Hunt and Jill Jensen of Estherville.

This scholarship was established by Guy Webber, a former Estherville attorney for the railroad. Following his legal career Webber lived an extremely meager lifestyle and designated his estate to provide scholarship funding to graduating seniors of Estherville High School, now known as Estherville Lincoln Central High School.

Eligible candidates must be in the upper 25 percent of their graduating class, be planning to enroll in Iowa Lakes Community College, demonstrate financial need and not be an officer, employee, or stockholder of Emmet County State Bank or be related to one of the above.
