IOWA LAKES WOMEN’S BASKETBALL RANKED #15 IN
NATION
The Iowa Lakes Community College Women’s Basketball Team is
ranked 15th in the NJCAA Division II women’s basketball
poll as of Nov. 20. It is the first such ranking for the Women’s
Basketball Team this year.
Iowa Lakes is off to a 4-2 start with a 1-0 Region XI record.
The two losses have been to tough opponents. Their first region
win was an impressive one against Southeastern, 70-42.
“I feel the women are practicing hard and working well
together. I am looking forward to the rest of our season.” said
Head Women’s Basketball Coach Brian Radtke.
The Lakers are home for “Pack the Gym” night, Tuesday, Nov.
27 against Sioux Falls JV at 5:30 p.m. with the men to follow at
7:30 p.m. They travel to La Crosse, Wisc., on Saturday, Dec. 1,
for a 3 p.m. tip-off with Western Wisconsin Tech.
