COLLEGE
OFFERS BROADCAST OF NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL GAMES
With the
weather as cold as it is, most of us would prefer to be in
Arizona today – then we could enjoy the women’s NJCAA
tournament in Scottsdale which starts Thursday.
But, area
residents will get the next best thing – they’ll be able to
listen to the Laker women’s volleyball game live.
Those
interested in listening to the action can go to the Iowa
Lakes Community College Web site at
www.iowalakes.edu and click on the link to the game on
the right hand side of the page starting at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Through an
arrangement with a regional sports network, the audio from
the Laker volleyball squad’s 1st game against Des
Moines Area Community College will air in real time.
After each
game, the time of the next match will be placed on the Web
site.
