IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS LUAU SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the Dickinson County Luau Scholarship recipients for 2007-08.

Recipients include Teegan Hunziker, Kari Batman, Darlene Powers, Brittney Chapman, Cindy Mincer, Toby Sangel of Milford; Jennifer Arms, Casey Carlson, Cassie Eckerman, Nicole Gardner, Matt Gathercole, Angelique Godfredson, Rochelle Kies, Jerrod Lundberg, Gineal Schrunk, Christopher Sill of Spirit Lake and Nicole Prentice, Sara Rademacher, Antonia Turvold of Terril.

The Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation coordinates the Luau to raise scholarship funds for residents of Dickinson County to attend Iowa Lakes Community College. The Luau Committee consists of several Iowa Lakes’ employees and area supporters. Many community individuals and businesses from the Lakes area and beyond attend and/or sponsor this event. Eligible candidates are traditional or nontraditional students attending Iowa Lakes full time while maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or better.
