SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS KOSSUTH COUNTY RESIDENTS

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the 2007-08 recipients of the Kossuth County Golf Outing Scholarship.

These scholarships are the result of an annual golf outing hosted by the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation, Algona campus staff and Kossuth County individuals. Each year, many community members and business leaders sponsor or attend the event.

Recipients must be permanent Kossuth County residents and attend the Iowa Lakes Algona Campus while maintaining a minimum 2.0 GPA.

This year’s recipients include Melanie Brown, Lauri Hoover, Emily Reimers, Shawna Sassman, Dethnarong (Jimmy) Syharath, Joshua Waechter of Algona; Jodee Goche, Jeannie Nemmers, Kelly Rowlet of Bancroft; Jillian Bowman of Burt; Kendra Cash, Mindy Meyer of Fenton; Patrick Kelly, Debra Steven of Lakota; Robert Straitt of Titonka; Mark Laubenthal of Wesley; Andrew Struecker of West Bend; and Melissa Lancaster of Whittemore.
