Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the spring 2008 semester Don Hall Memorial Scholarship to Zach Herum of Estherville.

Marty Hall established this scholarship in memory of her husband Don Hall, former Iowa Lakes Marine/Small Engine Mechanics instructor. He was head baseball coach for Iowa Lakes and also scouted for the Dodgers major league team. Applicants must be residents of Clay, Emmet, Dickinson, Kossuth or Palo Alto counties and be attending any Iowa Lakes Community College campus.
