PLANNING MEETINGS SCHEDULED IN ALGONA
Individuals
interested in taking evening and weekend Nursing or Biomass
classes are encouraged to attend one of three meetings planned
in Algona in the next few weeks.
Meetings will be
from 4-6 p.m. on three consecutive Mondays – Nov. 26, Dec. 3 or
Dec. 10 at the Algona campus, 2111 Highway 169 North.
“I encourage
everyone – even if they aren’t sure they want to do this – to
stop out to the campus,” said Trudy Kattner, Algona Campus Dean.
“We’ll have the right people on hand to walk everyone through
the process.”
She encourages
advanced planning.
“We often find
that individuals who plan ahead will be more successful in their
studies,” Kattner said. “Those who start now will have the right
prerequisite courses and won’t have an overload of classes when
they’re starting their program.”
The two featured
programs will be the evening and weekend Nursing and Biomass
programs, but everyone interested in classes is encouraged to
attend one of the meetings.
Those with
questions in advance of the meetings may contact Kattner at
(515) 295-9455.
Individuals
interested in Massage Therapy should attend a meeting in Spencer
on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. Evening/weekend Nursing classes
are also offered in Spencer and Spirit Lake. Those meetings are
planned for Dec. 10 and 12 at 6:30 p.m. in Spirit Lake; and
Thursday Dec. 6 in Spencer from 6:30-8 p.m.
