ALBEE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED
Iowa Lakes
Community College has awarded the 2007-08 H.G. Albee Memorial
Scholarship.
Albee, a former
resident of the Estherville area, created a trust to be used
primarily for scholarships. It was his wish that the Iowa Lakes
Scholarship Foundation administer the trust income for the
betterment of Iowa Lakes Community College. All recipients must
attend the Estherville campus.
Recipients from
Iowa are Joshua Waechter of Algona; Jennifer Foster and Roman
Eisenbacher of Armstrong; Jodee Goche of Bancroft; Jeremy
Wickman of Emmetsburg; Ricca Soper, Jorge Castro, Samantha
Fahrmann, Avis Dumdei, Tyler Gifford, Robyn Mitchell and Rebecca
Howard of Estherville; Todd Buffington of Forest City; Martha
Stover of Fort Dodge; Amanda Hoffman of Graettinger; Randee
Fahlenkamp of Hartley; Jeff Cartmill of Logan; Nicole Langel of
Milford; Sarah Wielenga of Orange City; Daniel Christensen of
Pisgah; Derek Berven of Ringsted; Katie Rowlands of Ruthven and
Candace Klepper of Terril.
Minnesota
recipients include Jason Rosenberg of Alpha; Sarah Clarke of
Dunnell; Jeanette Kessel of Elmore; Ashley Irwin and Misty Kreel
of Fairmont; Candice Rebstock of Franklin; Kelly Williams of
Jackson; Jacob Hansen of Morgan; Karissa Kramer of Sleepy Eye;
Tegan Quade of Truman; Erin Jacobsen of Virginia; and Luke Senst
of Wabasso.
Additional
recipients include David Fox of New Providence, Bahamas; Kayla
Hoffman of Dell Rapids, S.D.; and Brittany Brohmer of LaCrosse,
Wisc.
