SENIOR FUN AND WELLNESS DAY PLANNED IN EMMETSBURG MAY 16

Area residents are reminded that the 20th annual Senior Fun and Wellness Day will be held in Emmetsburg May 16 at Iowa Lakes Community College.

Again this year, there will be no preregistration. However, seniors are reminded that there will be a $5 fee at the door to cover the event which includes continental breakfast and a lunch featuring Italian cuisine.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. with registration, wellness and resource information, coffee and continental breakfast. The keynote presenter is Pat McGill, an inspirational – and humorous – speaker. She will begin at 9 a.m. in the cafeteria/student center.

The 20th annual Senior Fun and Wellness Day is sponsored by Iowa Lakes Community College and Palo Alto County Health System.
