IOWA LAKES SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES DRAW NEAR

Deadlines for scholarship applications at Iowa Lakes Community College for the upcoming 2007-2008 academic year are approaching very quickly.

Students are advised that to be included in the Iowa Lakes scholarship application process, complete scholarship application files (including application forms, self summaries and two recommendation letters/forms) must be in the Iowa Lakes Institutional Advancement/Foundations Office by Monday, April 2 at 4 p.m. The office is located at 9 South 7th Street in Estherville. Late scholarship application files will not be accepted.

To be eligible for need based scholarships offered by Iowa Lakes Community College, students’ FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) information results must be in the college’s Financial Aid Office by Monday, April 2.

A few deadline exceptions do apply; the Iowa Lakes TRIO and ASPIRES Scholarships have a deadline of April 15 and the Presidential Scholarship has a May 1 deadline.
