IOWA LAKES PLAYER NAMED ‘ATHLETE OF THE WEEK’

An Iowa Lakes Community College women’s basketball player has been named Division II Women’s Basketball Player of the Week by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.

Allie Renberg, a 6’ 1" post player from Sleepy Eye, Minn., was selected based on her leadership during games Jan. 3- Jan. 10.

Renberg led the Laker Women this past week with an average of 17 points per game, 12.5 rebounds per game and two steals per game.

She is a sophomore student who is a majoring in general studies.

After completing her career at Iowa Lakes, Renberg will continue her education – and basketball career – in Kansas at Emporia State, where she has already signed.
