SECOND DAY IOWA LAKES JAZZ CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The second day of competition in the 32nd Annual Jazz Band Contest at Iowa Lakes Community College has been completed. Winners from today are listed below:

Class 3A:         
1.  Spirit Lake – Pam Houser, Director
2.  MOC Floyd Valley – Mary Hulstein, Director
3.  Storm Lake High School – Frank Hoskins, Director 

Class 4A:
1.  Sioux City North I – Kevin Massey, Director
2.  Sioux City East – Russ Nagel, Director
3.  Sioux City North II – Kevin Linder, Director

On Thursday, Class 2A bands will compete.  Those results will be available late Thursday and will also be posted on www.iowalakes.edu website.

The public is invited to attend any or all of the activities.  All contests are in the Gymnasium on the Estherville Campus.  There is no admission charge.  Carol Ayres, Professor of Instrumental Music at Iowa Lakes is in charge of the event.
