IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS BIOLOGY MAJOR SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the "We Believe In Us" 2006 – 2007 Biology Major Scholarship to Craig Fandel of Estherville and Nicholas Thornton of Newell.

This scholarship is a direct result of the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation’s "We Believe In Us" Annual Giving Program. The employees and alumni of Iowa Lakes, along with community businesses and individuals, annually donate to the program for the betterment of the college and its students through scholarships or improvement in programs.

Eligible candidates for this scholarship are biology major students at Iowa Lakes Community College. One award will go to a student with a minimum 2.5 GPA who displays financial need and one award will go to a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
