HAYES SCHOLARSHIP ESTABLISHED AT IOWA LAKES

Iowa Lakes Community College is announcing the establishment of the Kirk and Julie Hayes Scholarship.

Kirk and Julie Hayes, long-time activists and philanthropists from Algona, joined the Iowa Lakes Community College President’s Circle of giving this winter. As a result of this partnership with Iowa Lakes, the Hayes decided to utilize their President’s Circle gift by establishing this scholarship to further their support for Kossuth County.

Eligible candidates for the Hayes Scholarship must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours at Iowa Lakes Community College and be currently enrolled full time. In addition, they must have graduated from one of the high schools in Kossuth County – Algona, Bishop Garrigan, North Kossuth or Sentral. Application deadline for this scholarship is April 1, 2007.
