In conjunction with the Lakes Community Theatre, the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation will be hosting an evening of fun and food on Thursday, Feb. 22 when "Little Shop of Horrors" will be performed in dinner theatre format at the beautiful Lakes Art Center in Okoboji.

The play revolves around Seymour Krelbour, a poor young man working at a rundown flower shop on skid row, when he encounters a miracle. He discovers an alien plant after a total eclipse of the sun. Seymour and the plant make a deal that if the plant continues to bring Seymour positive attention; he will in turn continue to feed the plant human bodies. This new version of a classic musical is based on the movie by the same title starring Steve Martin, Rick Moranis and Bill Murray.
