IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS SANBORN JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIP
Iowa Lakes
Community College has awarded the Clyde & Grace Sanborn Junior
Scholarship. The Sanborns, former business owners in and around
Estherville, set up a fund to be used for scholarships for Iowa
Lakes Community College students.
The Sanborn
Junior Scholarship is available to high school juniors from any
locale planning to attend Iowa Lakes Community College. Eligible
candidates must complete an application for admission to Iowa
Lakes, the Clyde and Grace Sanborn Junior Scholarship
application form (available at any Iowa Lakes campus or on the
Web site at www.iowalakes.edu),
obtain one letter of recommendation, write a brief summary and
provide a copy of their high school transcript.
High school
junior recipients are Adam Soyer or Carroll; Chelsie Riggert of
Corwith; Amanda Carpenter, Erin Forry, Samantha Heldeson, Sarah
Henningsen, Andrea Preston and Chad Metz of Emmetsburg; Caleb
Caboth, Brandon Hanson, Chad Prust of Estherville; Kelsey Holtz
of Everly; Bryan Stein of Gilmore City; and Katie Friesenborg of
Kanawha.
Also, Cass Pierce
and Edward Schwarm of Lake Mills; Kelsey Bell of Laurens; Justin
Doyle of Mankato, Minn.; Tiarra Eades, Trisha Havlicek, Shawn
