STUDENT SENATORS ANNOUNCED AT ESTHERVILLE CAMPUS OF IOWA LAKES

Student senators have been selected for the Estherville Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College for the 2007-2008 college year.

Those students include: Jeremy White, Associate in Arts Education, Cherokee, who is serving as president of the senators; Sarah Wielenga, Business Administration and Management, Orange City, who has been elected as the vice president of student government; Elizabeth Rusch, Broadcast Media Specialist, Hartley, who is the secretary/treasurer of the senators; Alexander Ehrich, Associate in Arts, Ledyard.; Jesse Smith, Wind Energy and Turbine Technology, Winona, Minn.; and, Candy Rebstock, Journalism and Photography, Franklin, Minn.

Student senators plan campus activities throughout the year; participate in a Statewide Leadership Conference; and, travel to Des Moines with other community college student leaders to learn about legislative processes.
