CULBERTSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the recipients of the David D. Culbertson Memorial Scholarship. Culbertson’s family and friends established this scholarship to help keep David’s memory alive while benefiting Iowa Lakes Community College aviation students.

Culbertson attended Hawkeye Tech in Waterloo and later graduated with a Master’s Degree in systems management from Iowa State University. He had a great love for flying and was involved with helicopter design for the military at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids at the time of his death in a private plane accident.

Recipients are Philip Becker of Storm Lake and Todd Buffington of Forest City, Aviation/Airport Management program students at Iowa Lakes.
