Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the “We Believe In Us” 2007-08 Career Academy Scholarship to Cody Newgard and Kyle Smith of Estherville as well as Ben Ulrich of West Bend.

This scholarship is a direct result of the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation’s “We Believe In Us” Annual Giving Program. Annually Iowa Lakes employees and alumni, along with community businesses and individuals donate to the program for the betterment of the college and its students through scholarships or program improvements.

Eligible candidates for this scholarship are students enrolled in the Career Academy program at either Iowa Lakes Community College or the Algona High School at the time of their application.
