IOWA LAKES BASKETBALL SIGNS TWO CHICAGO HIGH SCHOOL STANDOUTS

Iowa Lakes Community College Head Men’s Basketball Coach Troy Larson has announced the signings of Kyle Clark and Martell Kehl to National Letters of Intent.

Clark, a 6’3" 215 pound guard/forward, led Prologue Charter School to a 23-2 record and a Charter School League Championship during his senior year. Clark averaged 19 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals per game. Clark was a first-team All Charter League selection as well as being a member of the Dyett Christmas All Tournament Team. Clark is enrolled in the Associate in Arts degree program.

"We are pleased to add Kyle to our program. He can play numerous positions on the floor and has a good level of toughness," said Larson.

Kehl, a 6’4’’ 175 pound guard, also played for Prologue Charter School. Kehl averaged 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists during his senior season. He was a two-time, first-team All Charter League selection as well as being a member of the Dyett Christmas All Tournament Team. Kehl is also enrolled in the Associate in Arts degree program.

"We are very excited about Martell. He really shoots the basketball well and can score a lot of points," said Larson.

Both Clark and Kehl played for Coach Damien Price at Prologue Charter School.
