IOWA LAKES STUDENT BENEFITS FROM
JONEE KAY ROSE-BROUGHTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the
recipient of the Jonee Kay Rose-Broughton
Memorial Scholarship for the 2005 – 2006 college
year. This year’s recipient is Patrick Westfall
of Spencer.
The Jonee Kay Rose-Broughton Memorial
Scholarship was established in 2004. Jonee was a
caring sensitive person and dedicated Medical
Technologist who touched many during her short
life. Jonee was extremely knowledgeable and
inquisitive with a yearning for answers to the
problems of everyday life.
Her scholarship is designed to further the
dreams of an Iowa Lakes student from Clay or
Dickinson County with plans to transfer to a
four-year university. Eligible candidates must
be incoming freshmen who demonstrate school and
community involvement along with financial need.
