IOWA LAKES BEGINS PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH PROCESS
The Board of Trustees of Iowa Lakes Community
College has started the process to find a
replacement for its college president, Dr.
Michael Hupfer, who is retiring on February 1,
2006.
John Hand, board vice president, and elected by
the board to be chair of the college’s
presidential search committee, indicated that
the trustees will be reviewing the
processes utilized when Dr. Hupfer and his
predecessor, Jim Billings, were hired and will
probably employ the services of a consultant to
assist with the search.
It is anticipated that more specific information
will be available within a few weeks.
