IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS THE CRISTINA JONES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

An Iowa Lakes Community College student, Brooke Roth of Ruthven, has been named the recipient of the 2005 – 2006 Cristina Jones Memorial Scholarship.

Jerry F. Jones of Spirit Lake established the Cristina Jones Memorial Scholarship in memory of his wife.

This scholarship is designed to offer financial support to students enrolled in the Massage Therapy program at the Iowa Lakes Community College Spencer Campus. Eligible candidates must possess a minimum 3.0 GPA, exhibit sound moral character, possess positive energy and demonstrate financial need. The applicants’ personal essays must include why they are entering this program and their beliefs on the benefits of massage therapy.
