IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS THE TIM HIGGINS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2005 – 2006 Tim Higgins Memorial Scholarship to Gabriel Munson of Rolfe.

Family established this scholarship in memory of a loved one with a passion for farming. Tim Higgins of Galva, Iowa was a farmer involved in a fatal accident at a young age. He truly felt farming was a great way of life.

The family felt that Tim would have wished to give back to agriculture and provide an opportunity for a student to enjoy farming as he did. Candidates must be enrolled full time at Iowa Lakes in an agriculture program while possessing a minimum 2.0 GPA.
