IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS THE PATRICK J. DONOVAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the recipient of the Patrick J. Donovan Memorial Scholarship, Keith Blumberg of Algona.

Family members established this scholarship in 2005 to keep Patrick’s memory alive while helping Iowa Lakes Community College students. After graduating from Estherville High School and Estherville Junior College, Pat completed his education at Mankato State University. He then began his lifelong career in the automobile business. He devoted his entire life to his family and friends. He always enjoyed people, telling great stories, Notre Dame football, his Irish heritage and America.

Eligible applicants for this scholarship must be planning to attend Iowa Lakes Community College full time in the business Administration and Management program, be in their sophomore year and in good academic standing.
