IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS DEWALL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2005 – 2006 Albert DeWall and Emma DeWall Peterson Memorial Scholarship to recipient Jessie Beck of Spencer.

This scholarship was established by Estherville Junior College alumna Barbara Whitish Kuyper in memory of her Uncle Albert and Aunt Emma. Albert and Emma grew up on a farm near Estherville and were lifelong residents of the area.

This need-based scholarship is open to students enrolled in Iowa Lakes’ career option, or vocational technical programs. Applicants must reside in the state of Iowa and possess and maintain a GPA in good standing.
