IOWA LAKES STUDENT BENEFITS FROM LOUISE BROADIE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the recipient of the Louise Broadie Memorial Scholarship for the 2005 – 2006 college year. This year’s recipient is Kathryn Kraft of Estherville.

The Maurice Broadie family of Superior established this scholarship in memory of Louise Broadie. Louise was a lifelong resident of the Emmet/Dickinson County area. The family best remembers her for being a loving wife, mother and friend. This scholarship goes to a student from the Estherville Lincoln Central School District who is interested in a nursing or agricultural career at Iowa Lakes Community College.
