IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS ARTHUR AND ELVA YATES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2005 – 2006 Arthur and Elva Yates Memorial Scholarship to Jamilee Sierck of Spencer.

Edna Webster established the Yates Scholarship in memory of her parents Arthur and Elva of Estherville. This scholarship is to assist and encourage individuals to pursue educational opportunities offered at any Iowa Lakes Community College location.

Eligible applicants must have successfully completed high school or GED, been accepted as a full-time student in an identified Iowa Lakes program , be working toward a degree to transfer to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor’s degree, hold a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a second year student with sophomore status.
