LAKER WOMEN MOVE UP IN NATIONAL RANKINGS
AGAIN
The Laker Women’s Volleyball Team has moved up
in the NJCAA national poll.
In Tuesday’s poll, the Laker women moved up two
spots – to seventh place.
Although the poll was based on results through
last week, the team added one more win Monday
night against Minnesota West. The Laker women
(as of Tuesday afternoon) are 24 and 6 overall
and 9 and 0 in the conference. They will play
Tuesday night at home at 7 p.m. against Des
Moines Area Community College and then compete
at a tournament this weekend at Iowa Central
Community College in Fort Dodge.
Next week, the Laker women play three contests
at home: Monday against Ellsworth at 6:30 p.m.;
Wednesday against NIACC at 7 p.m.; and, Friday
versus NDSCS at 5 p.m.
The final game of the regular season is October
25 against Iowa Central.
