PALO ALTO COUNTY CORN & SOYBEAN GROWERS
ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED
Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the
recipients of the Palo Alto County Corn &
Soybean Growers Association Scholarships.
The 2005 - 2006 recipients are Andrew Senne of
Woden for the Ag Participation Scholarship and
Michael Norland of Cylinder for the Growing for
the Future Scholarship.
To be eligible for any of the association’s
scholarships the recipient, their parent or
grandparent must be a member of the association.
Favorable consideration is given to applicants
displaying strong school and community
involvement.
Other criteria for the scholarships are: Iowa
Lakes Student Scholarship – Iowa Lakes students
enrolled in any program. Agriculture Opportunity
–students enrolled in any accredited two-year of
four-year college agricultural program. Growing
for the Future Scholarship – students enrolled
in any accredited two-year or four-year college
in any major or program. Agriculture
Participation Scholarship – Iowa Lakes students
in first year of the two-year Agriculture
Production program. The recipient must work with
the college and the association on the test
plot.
