IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS THE PALO
ALTO COUNTY GOLF OUTING SCHOLARSHIP
Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the
2005 – 2006 Palo Alto County Golf Outing
Scholarship.
Recipients include Anna Terveer of Ayrshire;
Rachel Rouse of Curlew; Michael Norland of
Cylinder; Brittney Currans, Holly Davidson,
Danielle Flannegan, Autumn Frederick, Melissa
Hinners, Megan Moffitt, Marc Riley, Ted
Schnieders, Sally Thompson, Lisa Walters, Jill
Whitener and Thomas Wise of Emmetsburg; Ashley
Jensen of Graettinger; Joey Cother, McKayla
Hemmingsen, Adam Kreutner, and Steven Schany of
Ruthven; Kyle Frideres and Brad Ulrich of West
Bend.
The Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation,
with the help of Emmetsburg Campus staff and
community golf committee members, coordinate an
annual scholarship fundraising golf outing. Many
community individuals, businesses and Iowa
Lakes’ employees attend or sponsor the event
showing their support of Iowa Lakes and its
students. Applicants for this scholarship may be
traditional or nontraditional students residing
in Palo Alto County. Students must attend the
Emmetsburg Campus full time while maintaining a
minimum 2.0 GPA.
