IOWA LAKES LAKER/ALUMNI GAME SET FOR SATURDAY, NOV. 5

The Iowa Lakes Community College Athletics Department and Midwest Wireless is sponsoring the annual Youth Basketball/Drug Awareness Clinic preceding the men’s Lakers vs. Alumni Basketball game on Saturday, November 5. The youth clinic will be held at 4:30 p.m. (doors will be open at 4:00 p.m.) with the expected tip off of the game to be at 6 p.m. All area youth are encouraged to attend and enjoy instruction in the fundamentals of the game from the Iowa Lakes men’s basketball players.

For the fans, the Alumni vs. Lakers game will be the first look at the 2005-2006 Iowa Lakes men’s basketball team which has been practicing since the first of October. It is also a time when fans may be able to catch some of their favorite players from previous years.

Advance tickets can be purchased from members of the Iowa Lakes men’s basketball team or at the door on Nov. 5. Prices are $2.00 for students (includes clinic and game) and $3.00 for adults. Children under 5 will be admitted free. No passes will be honored for the game.
