IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS THE P.E.O. CHAPTER AY SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2005 – 2006 P.E.O. Chapter AY Scholarship to recipient Kayla Helget of Estherville.

P.E.O. is a philanthropic and educational organization founded in 1869. Its interests include bringing to women increased opportunities for higher education. The Estherville chapter, AY, was established in 1896 and offers this scholarship to a graduating senior woman from the Estherville Lincoln Central school district. Eligible applicants must be planning to attend the Iowa Lakes Community College Estherville Campus and rank in the top 50 percent of their high school graduating class. High consideration is given to those demonstrating positive character and a commitment to community service.
