CRIMINAL JUSTICE CLUB PLANS SOUP FEED AND
AUCTION FOR FUNDRAISER
The Criminal Justice club of Iowa Lakes
Community College will be holding a fundraiser
next week to augment the club’s account for a
trip during spring break.
Students will host a soup feed from 4-8 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 16 in ‘The Max’ at the
Estherville Campus Student Center. Cost is $5
for the soup (all-you-can-eat), a cinnamon roll
and a drink.
After the soup feed, a labor auction will be
held. Local auctioneer Mike Clarken will lead
the fundraising, selling ‘labor’ from the
students in the club. The minimum bid for three
hours of work will be $20.
The public is encouraged to attend both the soup
feed and the auction.
During spring break, students will travel to
Texas where they’ll tour various criminal
justice facilities and agencies.
