IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION HOSTS
KOSSUTH COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP GOLF OUTING

Area golfers are invited to attend the Iowa Lakes Community College Kossuth County Scholarship Golf Outing on Fri., June 3.

The event features an 18 hole golf outing held at the North Kossuth Golf Club in Bancroft. In addition, prizes will be distributed and participants will be able to take part in games that will help raise funds for scholarships for students from Kossuth County.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The event will include lunch at mid-day and flag contests. Following the event there will be a short awards program.

“Last year, we were able to disburse over $7,000 from the Scholarship Golf Outing, Poker Ride and the ‘We Believe in Us’ Annual giving program in Kossuth County,” said Trudy Kattner, Dean of the Algona Campus. “This amount directly benefited 24 Kossuth County students with scholarships to help achieve their educational dreams at Iowa Lakes Community College.”

Organizers are looking for a large crowd.

“This year, we anticipate a record number of participants and hope many supporters can join us on the ‘green,’” said Katie Elbert, Special Events Coordinator at Iowa Lakes.

The Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation Office will receive registrations and hole sponsorships up until the day before the event.
