WIND TURBINE OPEN HOUSE
PLANNED
The
general public is invited to attend an Open House
and Ribbon Cutting planned for Tuesday, April 12,
in Estherville for the newly-installed wind
turbine on the campus of Iowa Lakes Community
College.
The
open house will run from 3 – 7 p.m. with a ribbon
cutting scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the wind
turbine site, weather permitting. The event is
being combined with the Estherville Chamber’s
Business After Five.
Attendees are asked to arrive at Entrance #1 to
George Shadle Hall to begin their tour which will
include a van ride to the tower site and classroom
led by a student tour guide. After the tour,
participants will be returned to the Max O. Pelzer
Center for refreshments.
