REMSEN UNION GOLFER SIGNS WITH IOWA LAKES
Iowa Lakes Community College Golf Coach, Dan
Soper has announced the signing of Tyler Ruba,
of Remsen to a national letter of intent for the
2005-2006 golf season.
Ruba, a senior at Remsen Union High School is a
three-year letter winner and was a first team
all Maple Valley Conference player in 2004.
“Tyler is a very good golfer and more
importantly an outstanding young man,” said
Soper. “He is a very hard worker and has shown
steady improvement throughout high school.”
“I am looking for Tyler to step in right away
and be a top player for the Lakers,” Soper said.
“I am confident that he will represent himself
and Iowa Lakes in a very positive manner.”
Tyler Ruba is the son of Mark and Julie Ruba of
Remsen and will enroll in the Landscape &
Turfgrass Program while at Iowa Lakes.
