IOWA LAKES STUDENT WINS ICCAC SOFTBALL
STUDENT-ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK AWARD

The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its Student-Athlete-of-the-Week award for March 23. Among the winners was Iowa Lakes Community College freshman Sam Rohr.

Rohr, of Lakeville, Minn., is majoring in Psychology at Iowa Lakes. She was honored for her outstanding pitching performance this week while the Laker Women are on Spring Break at the Tucson Invitational. She ended the week with a 6-0 record with 31 innings pitched. During those 31 innings, Rohr allowed only 4 runs and 15 hits with 36 strikeouts and 6 walks. Her overall ERA was 0.90 with three shutout games.
