WEST LYON GOLFER SIGNS WITH IOWA LAKES
Iowa Lakes Community College Golf Coach, Dan
Soper has announced the signing of Bennett
Munger, of Inwood to a national letter of intent
for the 2005-2006 golf season.
Munger, a senior at West Lyon High School is a
three-year letter winner and helped his team to
a second place finish at sectionals in 2004.
“Bennett will be a great addition to our
program,” said Soper. “He is an intense
competitor and has a great mental approach for
such a young player.”
“I think Bennett’s best golf is ahead of him.”
Soper said. “He’s understands what it takes to
be successful at the next level and I expect him
to compete for a top five spot next year for
Iowa Lakes.”
Bennett Munger is the son of Greg and Wanda
Munger of Inwood and will enroll in the
Landscape & Turfgrass Program while at Iowa
Lakes.
