JARRETT JONES SIGNS TO PLAY GOLF FOR IOWA LAKES

Iowa Lakes Community College Golf Coach, Dan Soper has announced the signing of Jarrett Jones, of Armstrong to a national letter of intent for the 2005-2006 golf season.

Jones, a senior at Armstrong-Ringsted High School is a three-year letter winner and a three-time first team all Cornbelt Conference performer.

“Jarrett has been one of the best players in this area for the last three years and heads a very good recruiting class for the Lakers,” said Soper. “I am very pleased and feel fortunate that Jarrett has decided to stay near home and compete for the Lakers.”

“Jarrett will be looked to fill one of the holes by departing sophomores,” Soper said. “He has a great love of the game and I am confident in his talent and ability to play at the next level.”

Jarrett Jones is the son of Bruce and Brenda Jones of Armstrong and will enroll in the Landscape & Turfgrass Program while at Iowa Lakes.
