IOWA LAKES STUDENT WINS ICCAC BASEBALL
STUDENT-ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK AWARD
The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference
has announced the winners of its
Student-Athlete-of-the-Week award for March 30.
Among the winners was Iowa Lakes Community
College sophomore Andy Cook.
He was honored for his outstanding play. Cook
batted an impressive .457 this week with 6
doubles, 9 RBIs, and 9 stolen bases. He is an
outfielder for the Laker men. His performance
has helped his team lead the conference with a
7-2 record.
Cook, of Sleepy Eye, Minn., is taking Arts &
Science coursework at Iowa Lakes. He plans to
transfer to a four-year college. He is the son
of Jeff and Jane Cook.
