IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION HOSTS 23rd ANNUAL LAKER SCHOLARSHIP GOLF OUTING JULY 9

Area golfers are invited to attend the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation Laker Scholarship Golf Outing July 9.

For the 23rd year, the event will feature a nine-hole golf outing and luncheon. In addition, prizes will be distributed and participants will be able to take part in games that will help raise funds for scholarships for student-athletes at Iowa Lakes.

This will be the third Iowa Lakes golf event this summer. It will be held at the Heartland Hills Golf Course in Estherville on Sat., July 9. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
The nine-hole event will feature the Best Shot Format and include flag contests, various games and raffles. Following the event there will be a short awards program with lunch.

“In the past few years, we have averaged $7,500 at the Estherville Laker Scholarship Golf Outing. This amount directly benefits student-athletes with scholarships to help achieve their educational dreams at Iowa Lakes Community College,” said Jason Vande Brake, Athletics Director.

The Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation Office will receive registrations and hole sponsors until the day of the event. Those interested in golfing or sponsoring a hole are asked to call Jason Vande Brake at 712-362-7907 or Katie Elbert at 800-242-5106 ext. 425.
