IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS CRISTINA JONES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

An Iowa Lakes Community College student has been named the recipient of the Cristina Jones Memorial Scholarship.

Kari Miner of Newton will receive the 2004 – 2005 Cristina Jones Memorial Scholarship.

Jerry F. Jones of Spirit Lake established the Cristina Jones Memorial Scholarship in memory of his wife.

This scholarship is designed to offer financial support to students enrolled in the Massage Therapy Program at the Iowa Lakes Community College Spencer Campus. Eligible candidates must possess a GPA of 3.0 or above, exhibit sound moral character, possess positive energy and demonstrate financial need. The applicant’s personal essay must include why they are entering this program and their beliefs on the benefits of Massage Therapy.
