CLYDE AND FRANCES CHRISTENSEN ENVIRONMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS NAMED

Two Iowa Lakes Community College students will benefit from the Clyde & Frances Christensen Memorial Scholarship during the 2004-2005 college year.

Cody Johnson of Royal and Catherine Musselman of Manson will receive the scholarships.

Long-time Iowa Department of Natural Resources employee, Clyde Christensen, established the scholarship in memory of his late wife, Frances, prior to his death in 2002.

Frances graduated from then named Estherville Junior College with a degree in teaching and later taught 5th grade.

The Clyde & Frances Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to an Iowa Lakes Community College student in good academic standing enrolled in the Environmental Studies, Fish/Wildlife Management or related programs.
