IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARDS POKER RIDE SCHOLARSHIP

Iowa Lakes Community College has awarded the 2004-05 Poker Ride Scholarship to students at each of the following campuses:

Algona Campus recipients include Danielle Allen and Deanna Hansen of Algona; Gloria Braun of Burt; and, Celina Palmer of Bancroft.

Emmetsburg Campus students are Jenna Hansen of Armstrong; Steven Haskins and Jeff Headley of Emmetsburg; and, Sheila Kulow of Graettinger.

Estherville Campus recipients consist of Whytne Clancy of Spencer; Cody Johnson of Royal; and, Heidi Mogler of West Bend.

Spencer Campus students include Mary Altman-Kafer of Spirit Lake and, Darlene Moritz of Milford.

Spirit Lake Campus recipients include Derek Horton and Josie Krivolavy of Spirit Lake; Tacey Walburg of Milford; and, John Wilbur Jr of Ruthven.

The Poker Ride Scholarship was created as a result of the Iowa Lakes Community College Scholarship Motorcycle Poker Ride Event. Funds are raised through motorcycle riders freewill donations and through the support of local businesses. Applicants must be residents of Clay, Emmet, Kossuth, Dickinson, or Palo Alto County, attend any Iowa Lakes Community College site and be a full-time student with at least 12 credits.
