IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE “WE BELIEVE IN US” MASSAGE THERAPY AND MEDICAL ASSISTANT SCHOLARSHIPS ESTABLISHED

Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the establishment of two new scholarships. These scholarships are a direct result of the college’s “We Believe In Us” Annual Giving Program. Annually Iowa Lakes’ employees, community businesses and individuals donate to the program for the betterment of the college and its students through scholarships or improvement of programs.

Eligible candidates for the “We Believe In Us” Massage Therapy Scholarship or the “We Believe In Us” Medical Assistant Scholarship should be non-traditional students in these respective programs at Iowa Lakes Community College displaying financial need, yet do not qualify for federal financial assistance. These scholarships will be awarded for the 2005-06 academic year. Scholarship application deadline is Friday, April 1, 2005.
